TICKETING
Q: If we book tickets in advance, can they be collected on the day?
A: Tickets purchased in advance will all be posted by special delivery well in advance of the festival. You can't collect them on the day, as it would cause unacceptable queues at the entry points. However tickets sold after 2nd July must be collected from the main box office on site.
[Top]
Q: Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-transferable. If having
bought tickets you find you are unable to attend, you can return them to us,
and if the festival is sold out, we will attempt to resell your tickets. If
we are successful, we will refund your purchase at face value. The non-transferable
rule is in place to help us stamp out organised touting.

Q: Do we still need to order a ticket for our Under 5 even though they're free of charge?
A: Under 5's can come free, but the number of under 5's are limited. So you must 'purchase' the free tickets when you order adult tickets, and the under 5's will only be allowed entry on production of a valid ticket and (if requested) proof of age.

Q: When will the tickets be sent out?
A: Tickets will be mailed approx one month prior to the festival. They will be sent by special delivery and may need a signature on delivery.
[Top]
Q: Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?
A: That depends if there are any tickets available. If there are, they will be sold at the main box office on site. The box office will accept cash and debit/credit cards. Advance ticket sales are possible right up until the day before the festival, with purchases made later than 5 working days prior to the festival being available for collection on the gate.

Q: What do I get if I buy VIP tickets?
A: VIP tickets come with a great package of special facilities to make your weekend at Cornbury an event to remember. For full details of VIP facilities please click here.

Q: Can I buy Tickets Locally?
A: No

Q: Is my information secure if I buy tickets online?
A: Yes, all of your personal and credit card details are fully secure to the highest industry standards. Cornbury Festival uses TS.com for all its online ticketing services. They are one of the leading festival ticketing agencies in the country and their online service is fully encrypted and secure using https:// and are verified with a Thawte secure certificate.
You may notice when buying tickets on this website that the url address on the tickets page does not display the https:// with the small padlock symbol. This does not change the fully secure nature of your transaction and you should purchase with confidence. For the technically interested the ticketing kiosk is embedded within our page in an <iframe> which is served to us by TS.com in their secure environment.
If you would like to see the full secure page provided by TS.com please [click here] or continue to the BUY TICKETS page.

THE MUSIC
Q: What bands are playing this year?
A: This years line up can be found by clicking here.
There will be 3 stages at Cornbury this year, the Main
Stage, then the Second Stage will be The Word
stage on Saturday, the Oxford Folk Festival
on Sunday, and the third Riverside
Festival Stage will present a range of local artists on both days.
[Top]
Q: How long will each artist be performing for?
A: The length of each set will vary. Some will be as long as 90 minutes, others will be an hour or 75 minutes
[Top]
Q: What are the timings and running order?
A: The gates to the arena open at 10:00 am each day. The Second
Stage (The Word & Oxford Folk Festival) and the Riverside Stage will begin
around midday with the main stage starting at 12:00 each day. The music will
end at around 11pm on both days. Paul Simon (Saturday) and Crowded House (Sunday)
are due on at approximately 21:30.
The running order of each day and each stage is shown on our Artists
page. The headline acts (i.e. last on) are always shown at the top of each stage
line up. This should help you gauge the approximate timings through the day
as most artists will have between 60 to 90 minutes per set.

GETTING TO CORNBURY
Q: Will there be signposts from the station and main roads?
A: Yes, there will be signs from main roads and from nearby towns. For full directions and travel details please go to our Travel section

ENJOYING THE FESTIVAL
Q: Can I bring a picnic?
A: Yes, but it must be kept in the picnic area - close to the car park so it's
not too far to carry your hampers! However the food on offer from the festival's
traders is diverse and of the highest quality. There should be something on
offer for everyone, and you haven't experienced the festival without trying
some of the cuisine on offer!
[Top]
Q: Will there be any covered areas if it rains?
A: There are a number of covered areas - the bars, the tea tent, the massage area, the VIP area etc etc.
[Top]
Q: Will I be able to re-enter the site if I leave during the day?
A: We hope you won't want to, and we try to ensure you won't need to. If you do everyone entering the site will be issued with a wrist band and they will need to show this if they wish to leave and re-enter the site at any time.
[Top]
Q: Will there be seating?
A: The festival is all standing, and it is not possible to book seats, or to bring furniture into the arena.
[Top]
Q: Can we take our own chairs?
A: Cornbury isn't a 'picnic show', and people tend to stand to watch the acts on the mainstage. We therefore don't allow people to bring furniture into the main arena - as it would be a safety problem, and you wouldn't be able to see much anyway! Of course the various bars and catering areas have some seating available, and you're welcome to bring rugs or shooting-sticks, so you needn't be on your feet all day.
[Top]
Q: Is there a central meeting point?
A: There is an information point at the Festival which you can use as a meeting point. You can also leave messages there for other festival-goers.
[Top]
DISABLED FACILITIES
Q: Will there be wheelchair access / disabled facilities?
A: We try to make the festival as accessible as possible to those
with special needs. Those with an blue badge will be able to park in a special
area - but please note it is still some way (across grass) to the main arena,
as dictated by the site. There is a wheelchair viewing platform in the main
arena, and there are disabled toilet facilities in the arena and campsite. If
you have particular needs, get in touch with us in advance. We'll do our best
to help.

CAMPING
Q: Can you
camp for just one night?
A: You can camp for only one night, or two, or three, but a standard
weekend camping charge applies. Go to the Camping
section for more information. The campsite is open from Friday afternoon until
Monday midday, and you can arrive and leave on whichever day you choose. The
cost for camping is the same however many nights you stay for. Please note that
the latest campsite entry on Friday is 10pm.
[Top]
Q: Will I be able to park my car next to my tent?
A: Unfortunately it's one of our licence conditions that cars must be parked away from the camping areas. Of course we do all we can to ensure that campers can park immediately adjacent to the campsite.
[Top]
Q: Are dogs allowed onto the campsite?
A: Unfortunately dogs are not allowed anywhere on site apart from guide dogs for the blind. This is a condition of our Public Entertainment Licence.
[Top]
Q: Can camping passes be purchased on arrival?
A: Like any tickets, camping passes will be available on the gate, provided that we have not sold out. If you plan to camp, you are advised to buy camping tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
