Q: Can you camp for just one night?
A: If you are a weekend with camping (or quieter camping) ticket holder you can camp for one night, or two, or three but the standard weekend camping charge applies. Go to the Camping section for more information. If you are a day ticket holder and wish to camp, you will need to buy your camping ticket (subject to availability) at the box office on site and then will be allowed to camp for the weekend, and the standard weekend camping charge applies. You will not be allowed to buy a camping ticket without a valid festival ticket. The campsite is open from Friday at 2pm until Monday at midday, and you can arrive and leave on whichever day you choose. The cost for camping is the same however many nights you stay for.

Q: Will I be able to park my car next to my tent?
A: Unfortunately it's one of our licence conditions that cars must be parked away from the camping areas. Of course we do all we can to ensure that campers can park immediately adjacent to the campsite.

Q: Are dogs allowed onto the campsite?
A: Unfortunately dogs are not allowed anywhere on site apart from guide dogs for the blind. This is a condition of our Public Entertainment Licence.

Q: Can camping passes be purchased on arrival?
A: Like any tickets, camping passes will be available on the gate, on presentation of a valid festival ticket – provided that we have not sold out. If you would like to camp at Cornbury, you are advised to buy a weekend with camping ticket in advance to avoid disappointment.

Q: What is the latest time I can arrive at the campsite?
A: The gates to the campsite will be closed at 10pm on the Friday and absolutely no vehicles will be allowed through after this time

Q: I’ve bought my tickets ‘with camping’ but have realised we’d prefer to be in ‘Quieter Camping’ – is it possible to change?
A: Unfortunately you can’t change your tickets in advance, but when you arrive on site, you can go to the box office and ask to change. This will be possible UNLESS the Quieter Camping is full up.

Q: I’ve bought tickets with ‘Quieter Camping’ but our friends are in the main campsite – will we be allowed to camp with them in the main campsite?
A: Yes -your ‘Quieter Camping’ tickets give you access to the main campsite as well, so you will be able to join your friends in the main campsite. But unless they change their tickets at the box office, they will not be able to camp with you in Quieter Camping.

[Top]

Q: Is the charge for camping for a tent, or per person?
A: The charge for camping is PER PERSON – if you would like to camp, whether it be in a tent, in a campervan, in a caravan, or in the Glamping area, you MUST purchase a weekend festival ticket ‘with camping’. Each individual attending the festival and wishing to camp must have a ticket ‘with camping’

Q: How far are the Campsites from the main arena?
A: The campsites are approximately a 10 minute walk from the main arena – it’s a lovely walk across grass and over a little bridge that crosses the lakes!

[Top]

Q: Are there shops and catering on the campsite?
A: Yes – there will be a really well stocked shop (selling everything from milk to loo roll, chocolate to batteries etc), several food stalls, and a fantastic Farmer’s Market selling fresh local produce – please check out the Farmer’s Market before bringing lots of food with you as there will be lots of delicious treats to buy!

PARKING

Q: How far are the car parks from the Campsites?
A: The car parks are approximately a 5 minute walk from the campsites – for anyone who has loads of kit to take from their car to the campsite, we will have Mr Trolley on site to help out. Mr Trolley is a trolley hire service helping people transport their gear into and out of festivals. Hiring a trolley saves time, carries the weight and allows you to set-up camp a lot quicker, making arriving and leaving a festival a much more enjoyable experience! Minimum hire charge is £5 for 30 minutes – please click here for more information

[Top]

Q: Do I have to pay for parking?
A: No – all parking is totally free at Cornbury!

[Top]

Q: If I am a VIP ticket holder but I’m camping, do I still enter via the VIP entrance and park in the VIP car park?
A: No – the VIP car park is for VIP day ticket holders only – and is a very long walk from the campsites! ALL campers must enter the site via the MAIN/CAMPSITE entrance (The BLUE gate) and park in the campsite car parks.
