HELP : BUYING TICKETS

Here are the answers to some of the questions we're being asked.

If we book tickets in advance, can they be collected on the day?
Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?
When will the tickets be sent out?
Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?
What do I get if I buy VIP tickets?
Can I buy tickets locally?
Is my information secure if I buy tickets online?
My child qualifies for a free ‘Child aged 12 or Under’ ticket – as this is free, do I still need to bother getting a ticket for him/her?
I have bought a weekend ticket but can now only go on the Saturday – can my friend use my ticket for the Sunday?
I ordered all the tickets for my group/family and my name appears on all the tickets – is this a problem?
I live locally and heard that in previous years there was a discounted ticket for locals – are their discounted tickets for locals this year?
I printed my tickets when I first ordered them and now can’t find them – help!
We are coming to the festival with lots of friends, do you do group discounts?

Q: If we book tickets in advance, can they be collected on the day?
A: Tickets are print at home only, which means you can even print your ticket on the day of arrival and therefore there is no need to collect on the day. However, if you are without an email address or unable to print your tickets, collection can be prearranged by contacting us on the ticket line number 0871 472 0420.

Q: Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-transferable. If having bought tickets you find you are unable to attend, you can return them to us, and if the festival is sold out, we will attempt to resell your tickets. If we are successful, we will refund your purchase at face value. The non-transferable rule is in place to help us stamp out organised touting.

Q: When will the tickets be sent out?
A: This year all the tickets are print at home so no tickets will be sent out, unless prearranged due to the inability to print tickets at home..

Q: Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?
A: That depends if there are any tickets available. If there are, they will be sold at the main box office on site. The box office will accept cash and debit/credit cards. Advance ticket sales are possible right up until the day before the festival.

Q: What do I get if I buy VIP tickets?
A: VIP tickets come with a great package of special facilities to make your weekend at Cornbury an event to remember. For full details of VIP facilities please click here.

Q: Can I buy Tickets Locally?
A: No

Q: Is my information secure if I buy tickets online?
A: Booking tickets online for Cornbury Festival is completely secure with full https encryption. Your credit card and personal details are protected to the highest industry standards that you would expect. Please shop with confidence.

The reason that the https:// address does not appear on the following ticket pages is simply that our secure ticket kiosk is presented within the pretty wrapper of our website. If you'd like to see the kiosk in its full secure glory then just click here and buy your tickets with confidence.

Q: My child qualifies for a free ‘Child aged 12 or Under’ ticket – as this is free, do I still need to bother getting a ticket for him/her?
A: Yes – everyone MUST have a ticket in order to enter the festival – please either order your child’s ticket via the website, or over the phone and make sure you print his/her ticket and take to the festival along with your tickets

Q: I have bought a weekend ticket but can now only go on the Saturday – can my friend use my ticket for the Sunday?
A: No – weekend tickets are to be used by one person ONLY – on entering the festival, you will be issued with a ‘Weekend’ wristband. If you take the wristband off (which would mean cutting it), another person will not be able to use it after you. You will only be allowed re-entry to the festival if your wristband is on your wrist and intact.

Q: I ordered all the tickets for my group/family and my name appears on all the tickets – is this a problem?
A: No, this isn’t a problem at all – as long as each person has a valid ticket it doesn’t matter what name appears on it.

Q: I live locally and heard that in previous years there was a discounted ticket for locals – are their discounted tickets for locals this year?
A: Afraid not – we gave discounted tickets to locals in the first couple of years but haven’t done this in latter years. We do, however, support the local community in many ways including giving hundreds of free tickets to be used in fundraising raffles and auctions, and giving free catering pitches to the Charlbury Pre-School and Charlbury Primary School.

Q: I printed my tickets when I first ordered them and now can’t find them – help!
A: Don’t worry! At the time of ordering your tickets you should have received a confirmation email – if you can’t find it in your inbox, please check your SPAM or Junk folder as it may have gone into that. Once you find the email, there is a link to your ‘Print at Home’ tickets so you can print them whenever you like. If you can’t find the email, please contact us, either with a confirmation number or the email address which you used at the time of booking, and we will resend your email.

Q: We are coming to the festival with lots of friends, do you do group discounts?
A: For bookings of 20 adults or more you get 10 tickets for the price of 9 – ie. bookings of 20 pay for 18, bookings of 30 pay for 27 etc. These bookings can only been done through the festival office, and all on one card – please contact us if you would like to make a booking for 20 adults or more.
